X-Trac Part number X-348 drop forged rivetless chain. This CARBON PLUS is made out of thoroughly hardened SAE 1053 Carbon steel links and thoroughly hardened SAE 4140 Alloy steel pins. The chain is designed for high strength, wearablitiy and fatigue resistance. This chain is provided in 10 foot (3.05 m) long sections with 40 pitches, and is sold by the foot. The nominal chain pitch is 3 inches 76.2 mm) per link. Average ultimate strength is 26,000 lbs (11,793.523 kg). Shipping weight is 21 lbs. per 10 ft. section.

This X-348 3 inch (76.2 mm) caterpillar or 'CAT' drive chain is designed for X-348 rivetless chain systems. The dogs are forged from carbon steel and then heat treated to ensure long life. The chain features a straight sidebar design which helps prevent the chain from collapsing on itself. This X-348 CAT chain has 6 inch (152.4 mm) dog centers. Sold in lengths of 10 feet (3.05 m).
